Timply

What Timply does

Scheduling, the time clock, absence and holiday, and the payroll file at the end of it. Grouped by the part of the month each one belongs to.

Why they are grouped this way

The five groups follow the shape of a month rather than a feature list. What is expected gets planned, what happens gets recorded, who is away gets decided, and at the end of it a file goes to payroll.

That last step is the one that decides whether the rest was worth doing. It is why the payroll file is the page to read first if you are evaluating Timply against a system you already have.

Time

What actually happened, minute by minute.

Scheduling

What is expected, before the week starts.

  • Lay out the week and publish it

Create shifts, staff them and see straight away which ones are unstaffed. Everyone gets their own schedule on their phone the second it is published.

Absence and holiday

Who is not there, and why.

Payroll and export

The road from a clocked hour to a paid one.

Mobile

The same system in a pocket.

Common questions

Which features are in which plan?

Scheduling, the time clock, shift differentials, overtime and absence requests are in Core. The payroll export, holiday handling, projects and role-based access are in Pro. The pricing page has the full comparison.

Do we have to use all of it?

No. A workplace that only wants the schedule and the time clock can use those, and the payroll export is there when it is wanted.

Is the mobile app a separate product?

No. It is the same system, and it is included in every plan at no extra cost per user.
